WOODIE GUTHRIE THE TRIBUTE CONCERTS

Ce très beau coffret de 3 cd et de deux livres édité sur le label Bear Family propose les enregistrements de deux concerts en hommage à Woody Guthrie. Le premier date du 20 janvier 1968 et a eu lieu au Carnegie Hall et le second date du 12 septembre 1970 à l'Hollywood Bowl. De nombreux artistes de la scène folk de l'époque réinterprètent les classiques de Guthrie et le troisième disque propose également des interviews. Les livres (en anglais) sont richement illustrés et contiennent les paroles des chansons. (ASDS)
