"In the last ten years I have been sculpting an "ensemble" of instruments in stone. The form (light) and the timbre (sound) are the two inseparable elements, and I search for the sound by carving and modifying the form of each stone of the ensemble. By striking these stones the substance and profound vibration of their sound is revealed. I would like to obtain that fusion of hearing and sight that the ancient chinese called "light of the ears"".
