Pendant quinze ans, Magnus Öström a été le batteur de feu Esbjörn Svensson Trio, plus connu comme "E.S.T.". "Searching For Jupiter" est la deuxième publication à son nom. Comme dans son précédent album, il mêle les influences jazz, electronica et rock progressif.
Enregistré par Janne Hansson au Atlantis Studio, Stockholm, du 28 janvier au 1 février 2013.
