« Big » John Patton (1935-2002) a été un des maîtres de l'orgue Hammond B3 dans le jazz. Il a travaillé avec une grande variété d'artistes, de Lou Donaldson à John Zorn. Datant de 1983, cet enregistrement a longtemps été un objet de collection très recherché et il est offert pour la première fois sur CD.
