Fondateur et premier président de l'AACM (Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians) à Chicago en 1965, le pianiste MUHAL RICHARD ABRAMS nous revient avec un double enregistrement célébrant son 80e anniversaire. Le premier disque "Focus, Thru Time...Time" l'associe au géant du ténor, le regretté FRED ANDERSON, (1929-2010) lui aussi octogénaire à la date de cette session. Le second disque "SoundDance" présente ABRAMS improvisant avec GEORGE LEWIS.(LF)
