Le CD comprend douze compilations de chansons traditionnelles anglo-saxonnes interprétées par des enfants de Grande Bretagne avec pour l'un ou l'autre passage la participation d'une voix adulte. Les arrangements musicaux sont toutefois éloignés de la tradition; c'est le synthétiseur et la boîte à rythme qui, donnant une orchestration moderniste, se subtituent aux couleurs harmoniques des instruments acoustiques.
