A celebration of the life and times of John Wilmot, 2nd Earl of Rochester* John Wilmot, 2ème Comte de Rochester, connu aussi sous le sobriquet de "Strephon" fut un personnage fantasque de la "Joyeuse Angleterre" de Charles II. Sa personnalité ne manqua pas de susciter l'intérêt de ses contemporains et biographes futurs. Egalement poète, les textes de quelques unes des chansons interprètées sur ce disque lui appartiennent ou lui sont attribués.
