Même si le Tsarévitch, dont on connaît surtout des extraits, n'a pas en Europe occidentale le retentissement de la Veuve Joyeuse, la version de Ulf Schirmer, qui semble poursuivre une intégrale " Lehar ", comble une certaine attente et répond, par sa qualité d'interprétation et d'enregistrement, aux exigences d'une oeuvre magistralement composée et orchestrée.
