Le Lac des cygnes de Piotr Ilyitch Tchaikovski fait partie des ballets féériques nés à l'époque romantique. Commandé par le Théâtre Bolchoi de Moscou en 1875, le ballet fut créé en 1877, comprenant 29 numéros et quatre actes ainsi que plusieurs "numéros supplémentaires" ajoutés peu après la première représentation. C'est cette version que présente ici Neeme Järvi et l'Orchestre Philharmonique de Bergen, poursuivant ainsi son projet d'enregistrer les trois grands ballets de Tchaikovski. AG
