Cet enregistrement présente deux nouveaux concertos d'Einojuhani Rautavaara : le Concerto pour percussions "Incantations" avec le soliste Colin Currie et le second Concerto pour violoncelle "Towards the Horizon" interprété par son dédicataire Truls Mork. Entre ces deux pièces concertantes figure une pièce écrite en 1953 et révisée en 2003 Modificata, entremet savoureux dans ce repas sonore consistant. AG
