La soprano Lisa Delan, diplômée du Conservatoire de musique de San Francisco, a une prédilection pour la musique de compositeurs contemporains comme Norman Dello Joio, Jake Heggie, William Bolcom, Andrew Imbrie, David Gardner et Gordon Getty. Elle a joué le rôle de la poétesse Emily Dickinson dans le cycle de chants " The White Election " de Getty et les personnages de Boy et de Clarence dans son opéra " Plump Jack ". Elle est la créatrice du rôle principal dans la cantate de Getty " Joan and the Bells " (réf. FG3475).
