Pianiste et compositeur contemporain israélien, Yitzhak Yedid s'éloigne un peu du jazz pour aborder le domaine de la confrontation entre musiques occidentales et orientales. Tout en laissant dans sa musique une large place à l'improvisation, il livre ici une musique inspirée, sombre et mélancolique où la microtonalité domine.
