Shirley Walker était une pianiste, chef d'orchestre américaine. Elle a travaillé pour la télévision et pour le cinéma (avec Hans Zimmer, Dany Elfman, Trevor Jones...) Pour la série " Batman " dont elle a signé la musique de chaque épisode, elle a composé des partitions orchestrales symphoniques d'une grande richesse qui poursuivent littéralement les personnages dans leurs aventures avec un grand sens de l'instrumentation et une excellente connaissance de la musique.
