"The world premiere release of the complete Oscar-nominated Leonard Rosenman soundtrack from Martin Ritt's 1983 drama Cross Creek starring Mary Steenburgen, Peter Coyote and Alfred Woodard. Rosenman anchors the score with a warm, rock-solid Americana theme, then surrounds it with intricate motifs including his signature harmonic complexities. After years of searching for the missing elements, the only-surviving stereo masters suitable for release surfaced in Australia courtesy of John Lasher, who was provided with a first generation copy when considering the project for release in 1983.
