L.Fulson began his recording career in 1946, singing down-home blues and accompanying himself on acoustic guitar. His style was firmly rooted in the Negro and Country & Western traditions of rural Texas and Oklahoma. Four years later, when he recorded "Everyday I have the blues", Fulson had grown into a sophisticated urban bluesman. On some tracks with unknown musicians.
