"The Bayou Renegade have a long and successful history in the traditional of Mardi Gras Indians. In 1975, as the Bayou Band, their original and unique sound traveled Louisiana supporting such artists as Jackie Wilson and Ernie K-doe. They have performed thoughout the world since then with Bo Dollis and remain the very heartbeat and soul of New Orleans Mardi Gras Sound, performing as an integral part of groups such as The Wild Magnolias."
