Comme son titre l'indique, "BLUES : LA DISCOTHEQUE IDEALE EN 25 ALBUMS ORIGINAUX" se veut une compilation regroupant les 'pierres blanches' de l'aventure Blues. Remarquable par la variété de la sélection, celle-ci peut néanmoins questionner, surtout par l'absence de certains "classiques", mais ce coffret reste tout de même une excellente porte d'entrée dans les racines de la musique noire américaine.
