Avec cette triple compilation "Chicago Bound", le label future Noise nous convoque dans l'histoire de la musique américaine de la fin des années quarante au début des années soixante. Quatre vingt six titres de R&B, de Blues et de Rock 'N' Roll enregistrés entre 1948 et 1962 pour des labels comme Chess, Checker, Argo et Aristocrat . On y rejoint bien évidemment des noms légendaires comme Bo Diddley, Muddy Waters, Etta James, Otis Spann, Betty James, Buddy Guy et encore bien d'autres. (CL)
