EVOLUTION OF DUB est une série de coffrets qui se propose de revisiter l'histoire du dub à travers la rééditions d'albums influents du genre avec livret aux précieuses informations. Excellente série ! (BB)
Coffret 4 CD avec tracks inédits : CD1 CRUCIAL DUB est un album encore jamais publié de Prince Jammy ; CD2 KAMIKAZE DUB (1979) son premier titre pour la première fois en CD ; CD3 UHURU IN DUB (1983) une compilation de remix dub du groupe Black Uhuru ; CD4 OSBOURNE IN DUB (1983) remix dub de Johnny Osbourne.
Ce coffret présente et couvre la période transitoire début des années 80 de Prince Jammy encore en train de travailler avec King Tubby mais commençant à construire son propre studio. Période juste avant l'avènement des riddims digitaux (le fameux "sleng Teng" à partir de 1985).
