Le label Stax nous propose de découvrir " Faith & Grace : A Family Journey 1953-1976 ". Un coffret rétrospectif de CD et un 45T qui retrace la carrière du quartet familial de Chicago The Staple Singers. Le groupe formé fin des années quarante s'inspire du country-blues, des évangélistes et des bluesmen aveugles. Cette anthologie nous permet de redécouvrir leur style musical électrique et expressif. En tout, cent-soixante morceaux de Gospel Soul teintés d'influences Folk, Blues et Funk dont la réédition de leur tout premier 45 tours enregistré en 1953, des raretés ainsi que de nombreux tubes.
