Vocal R'n'B [Doo-wop]. Recorded from mid-50's to early 60's. "The City of New Haven, Connecticut produced more than its share of great Rhythm & Blues vocal groups. Included in a list of those groups calling New Haven their home are the Five Satins, Chestnuts, Haven Knights, Scarlets, Ballads & Nobels. Perhaps one of the greatest and best known of the New Haven groups was the Nutmegs.
