Guitariste au côté de Solange pendant deux ans, Bryndon Cook présente son premier album solo « Language », sous le pseudonyme de Starchild & The New Romantic (en hommage à la mythologie P-Funk de George Clinton). Le jeune artiste originaire de Brooklyn nous propose quatorze morceaux énergiques et psychédéliques mariant Soul, Funk, electro et R&B. Les chansons sentimentales abordent les thèmes du pathos et de la lascivité (CL)
