"Eddie Hinton is a true revivalist of American Roots Music, in Eddie's case it's the sound of the south. Artists such as Aretha Franklin, Tony Joe White, Percy Sledge, Dusty Springfield & UB 40 have all recorded songs written or co-written by Eddie Hinton. In the early seventies Eddie was lead guitarist for the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, and can be heard on records by Wilson Pickett, Solomon Burke, Boz Scaggs, Joe Tex, Elvis Presley, The Staple Singers & Toots."
