"Mannish Boy"s est une compilation de vingt quatre morceaux interprétés par le groupe afro-américain The Newcomers. Cette formation injustement sous-estimée était composée de quatre jeunes gens : Randy Brown, Bertram Brown, William Sumlin et Terry Bartlett. Le quartet nous propose des titres de Soul et de R&B agréables et doux enregistrés pour le label Stax entre 1969 et 1974. (CL)
