Premier album pour Keenan Jackson plus connu sous le nom de YG (Young Gangsta). Ce rappeur américain originaire de Compton, dans la banlieue de Los Angeles sort "My Krazy Life", un projet fait en collaboration avec le producteur DJ Mustard. En tout, dix-sept moreaux tubesques de Gangsta-Rap West Coast. Un style dur à l'ancienne avec des beats minimalistes, des productions simples et des grosses nappes de synthés. Les textes eux, nous parlent de grosses voitures, de filles, de drogues ou des gangs. Pour les featuring, on retrouve de grosses pointures comme Drake, Meek Mill, Lil Wayne ou Nicki Minaj. (CL)
