"Power Piano Player" est un coffret de deux disques sur le Bluesman afro-américain Big Maceo. On retrouve une quarantaine de titres de type Chicago Blues enregistrés entre 1941 et 1950. Cet artiste était un excellent pianiste et un chanteur expressif qui a influencé de grands artistes comme Otis Spann, Johnny Jones ou Henry Gray Redding. (CL)
