Quatre ans après leur opus éponyme « Prhyme », le duo new-yorkais, composé du producteur Dj Premier et du MC Royce Da 5'9'', sort son second volet « Prhyme 2 ». Nos deux compères nous offrent dix-sept morceaux variés et efficaces surfant entre Boom Bap et Hip-Hop Harcore dont le titre final « Gotta Love It », sorte de remerciement et de message d'amour pour Détroit et sa scène. On découvre aussi pas mal d'invités comme Dave East, Roc Marciano, 2 Chainz ou Cee-Lo Green. (CL)
