Russian Roulette, le nouvel album du producteur et rappeur américain The Alchemist fait suite à l'excellent "Vodka & Ayahuasca" [KG1107], sa très bonne collaboration avec Oh No au sein du groupe Gangrene. Et bien que sortant sous son seul nom, Russian Roulette n'en est pas moins un album collaboratif puisqu'on y retrouve la crème du Rap américain indépendant, à savoir Action Bronson, Meyhem Lauren, Danny Brown, Schoolboy Q ou encore Guilty Simpson....Musicalement, on y retrouve de nombreux samples issus de vinyles de musique russe, d'extraits de films ou de programme radio; Le tout mis en musique avec la classe et le perfectionnisme qui caractérise généralement les travaux de The Alchemist.
