THE EXCITERS est à l'origine un trio "Girls Band" composé du chant principal Brenda Reid + Carolyn Johnson & Lillian Walker. Le groupe est bientôt rejoint par Herb Rooney (le mari de Brenda Reid).
Dans la tradition des groupes soul pop des années 60 avec influence marquée par le pop-rock : rythme carré et energie soulfull.
Edition CD accompagnée d'un livret 20 pages avec beaucoup d'informations sur le groupe (histoire, biographie, discographie...).
