KENT SOUL partage les même valeurs concernant les rééditions avec le label associé ACE Records.

ACE Records (basé à Londres) débute en 1978 sous l'impulsion d'un trio de base constitué de Ted Carroll, Roger Armstrong, Trevor Churchill animé par la volonté de révolutionner la norme des rééditions par la règle des " 3 R " : récupération, restauration et recherche. Désireux de proposer un travail de qualité et informatif servant à tout un chacun, du novice à l'auditeur averti, les productions sont soignées : remasterisées et accompagnées de livrets aux informations détaillées. A l'affût de précieuses archives contenant bon nombre de grands noms de la musique populaire aux USA le label est spécialisé dans la réédition et le rachat de catalogues d'époque. Aujourd'hui Ace Records UK englobe une dizaine de labels-associés (Kent Soul, BGP, Big Beat...) et réédite de façon abondante l'ensemble des catalogues rachetés. D'un commun accord, ACE Records a emprunté son nom à un label plus ancien créé en 1955 par Johnny Vincent dans la ville de Jackson dans le Mississippi.
