Après sa mixtape "More About Nothing" en 2008 (inspirée par la série américaine "Seinfeld"), le rappeur Wale revient sans ses acolytes du label Maybach Music (Rick Ross et Meek Mill) avec une sorte de suite intitulée, "The Album About Nothing". Ce quatrième album solo est conçu en collaboration avec l'acteur du sitcome, Jerry Seinfeld qui incarne le narrateur dans le disque. Avec ses quatorze morceaux de Rap Game, notre MC nous livre des textes personnels et nous parle de ses sentiments sur notre société et de ses expériences. En invité, on retrouve du beau monde comme Jake One, SZA, J Cole, Usher , Jeremih ou encore stokley. (CL)
