THE BEST OF THE CIMARRONS
THE CIMARONS
- Ref. KC4733
- CROCODISC, 1992.
"Taking their model from the Jamaican Rastafarians, English reggae musicians were politically committed: Steel Pulse against the Ku Klux Klan, the Cimarons on tour in England to exorcise xenophobia and the rise of the National Front. Many people in this new group of avant-garde Jamaican exiles identified with the Punk movement, denouncing the abuses of conservative governments of the period."
