Très bonne double compilation regroupant les plus fameuses productions (Early) Reggae de Duke Reid entre 1966 et 1973.En pleine transition entre le Rocksteady vers le Reggae, Duke Reid gère son studio et ses labels avec un sens aigu du business, le tout en travaillant avec des pointures des deux genres tels que John Holt, Alton Ellis ou encore Phyllis Dillon. Très bonne entrée en matière pour qui veut découvrir le genre ou qui veut compléter sa discographie. (PTH)
