Le rappeur californien Kendrick Lamar nous invite à découvrir sa mixtape « Untitled Unmastered ». L'opus regroupe huit morceaux originaux non mixés, des chutes de studio laissées de côté au montage lors de l'enregistrement de son précédent album « To Pimp A Butterfly » en 2014. Les titres singuliers et sans fioritures mêlent une fois de plus Rap, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Trap et Soul. Quant aux textes, ils se montrent toujours aussi engagés avec des paroles sur la religion, la politique et la discrimination. Un disque intéressant qui nous permet de mieux saisir le travail de l'artiste. (CL)
