From Dot Records. Recorded early/mid 60's. "The Beatles for instance didn't record many songs they didn't write, but they cut Arthur Alexander's 'Anna', and the Rolling Stones covered 'You better move on' on their first EP. Later, Ry Cooder revived 'Go home girl'. For years, Arthur's song 'A shot of Rhythm'n'Blues' was a staple of every british bar Blues band. Arthur Alexander's songs have survived one way or another while he remains little known."
