Yannis Papaïoannou (1913-72) est un musicien et compositeur grec célèbre dans le style rebetiko. Il a commencé sa carrière dans les années 1930 mais a surtout été productif dans les années 1940, continuant à jouer pendant les deux décennies suivantes. Ce disque est une compilation de morceaux non datés. (ASDS)
