Pérez Prado (1916-89) est un chef d'orchestre, chanteur, pianiste et compositeur cubain, souvent nommé "Roi du mambo". Il a en effet contribué à la popularisation du style, composant des classiques comme "Mambo no. 5". Il est également connu pour son interprétation d'autres styles cubains, parfois à la limite de l'exotica. Ce disque non daté et produit au Mexique présente la facette jazz de l'artiste. (ASDS)
