Ce coffret de quatre cd accompagné d'un livre en anglais relate le voyage de Deben Bhattacharya (1921-2001) entre Paris et Calcutta en 1955. Le field recorder a pris la route et enregistré au passage de nombreux musiciens grecs, turcs, syriens, irakiens, iraniens, afghans et indiens. Certains morceaux ont été édités dans le passé sur disque, d'autres sont inédits. (ASDS)
