Mari Kalkun est une chanteuse et musicienne estonienne. Sur cet album édité par le label Real World, elle explore les traditions locales, venant du coeur de la forêt, accompagnées de cithares traditionnelles. Elle parle des liens entre la nature et le monde moderne, empruntant des extraits de textes runiques et créant un album teinté de magie et de mysticisme, tout en étant ancré dans le présent avec une orchestration contemporaine.
