Antonio Infantino a conduit de nombreuses recherches autour de la tarentelle du sud de l'Italie et les cultes anciens de la région. Il a fondé son groupe en 1975 et depuis, de nombreux musiciens ont participé à ses projets. Sur ce disque, il réinterprète le répertoire tout en restant proche des traditions.
