Ce nouveau volume de la série "The voice of the people" complète le précédent (MQ0183) en présentant les musiques des Irlandais à Londres depuis le milieu des années 1960 à aujourd'hui. Cette musique était jouée dans les pubs et salles de danse par une génération de jeunes artistes arrivés d'Irlande pour trouver du travail. Airs traditionnels instrumentaux.
