Enregistrement en 1992 à Surakarta par Kyoji Hoshikawa. Ce triple cd est consacré au wayang kulit, le théâtre d'ombre traditionnel de Java. L'histoire mythologique de Banjaranjali est contée par le dalang, le narrateur et accompagné d'un gamelan composé de percussions métalliques et de la vièle rebab. Pièce de 9 heures à l'origine, elle est ici condensée ici en 3 heures. Livret en japonais et anglais. (ASDS)
