Formé en 2009 par le chanteur Thom Yorke (Radiohead), le bassiste Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), le producteur Nigel Godrich, et le batteur Joey Waronker (R.EM, Beck, Elliott Smith...) Atoms For Peace sort chez Xl Recordings son très attendu premier album. Ecrit comme un album pop au maillage électronique sur lequel se croisent textures organique et synthétiques, AMOK convainc sans vraiment surprendre et sonne plus comme un énième projet solo de Thom Yorke que comme un véritable disque de groupe.
