DECADENCE
HEAD AUTOMATICA
- Ref. XH332C
- WARNER BROTHERS, 2004.
"Founded between 2002 and 2004, Head Automatica can best be called the side project of Glassjaw lead singer Darryl Palumbo. He teamed up with former Gorillaz producer Dan Nakamura and Glassjaw's drummer Larry Gorman to record their full-length debut, entitled Decadence. The album isn't really classifiable; if the styles of Glassjaw's punk, pop, disco, funk, and electronica mated, they would produce Decadence as the sadistic imp-child. Lyrically, you should expect this album to be one of two things (depending on your point of view): pure partying or oddly romantic. There are songs to make you laugh, songs to make you think, and songs that just rock. Granted, it isn't anything worthy of a Grammy, but you can expect to hear from them soon." www.the-trades.com
