ELEVEN
L'ORCHESTRE NOIR
- Ref. XO593A
- TURSA, 1998.
Composed by Anthony Charles Wakeford. Arranged by A. Ch. Wakeford and Eric Roger. Conducted by Eric Roger. Musique classique contemporaine: ""Eleven" is perhaps Wakeford's most ambitious expression to date of his Eurocentrism vision. "Eleven" is both Wakeford's requiem for the First World War and his expression of hope for peace in Europe in the future (while at the same time being fully aware that such a hope is unfortunately most likely futile - the dreamer must still dream, even if his dream is unobtainable). [Texte de la pochette].
