Un quatrième album du groupe gallois enregistré en Espagne et mixé à Seattle avec Joh Goodmanson qui a déjà travaillé avec Sleater Kinney et Death Cab For Cutie. Précédemment Los Campesinos proposait des chansons à la fois accrocheuses, incisives parfois épiques. Les compositions de "Hello Sadness" reflète une ambiance beaucoup plus intime bien que mélancolique tout en gardant leur côté Indie Pop. (DM)
