"During his time with Henry Cow, Greaves had made the acquaintance of Peter Blegvad of Slapp Happy and during a collaborations between Slapp Happy and Henry Cow built up a strong working relationship with Blegvad which continued following his departure from Henry Cow in 1976. In addition to his work with Blegvad and his solo albums John has also collaborated on a number of albums with musicians as diverse as David Cunningham, Pip Pyle, Robert Wyatt and Michael Mantler. "Maman" is also another in the long list of collaborations. "Maman" are the French based trip hop/rock group who have made an album containing material co composed with John Greaves. John also provides the vocals on this eclectic combination."
