Le Concert for George s'est tenu le 29 novembre 2002 au Royal Albert Hall de Londres en hommage à George Harrison, disparu un an plus tôt. Monté à l'initiative de sa veuve Olivia et de son fils Dhani, le concert a été conçu par Eric Clapton et Jeff Lynne. Les amis du guitariste comme Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Ravi Shankar, Billy Preston, Tom Petty et les Monthy Python y participent et y reprennent ses chansons. Ce concert déjà sorti en 2003 en CD et DVD a été certifié 8 fois platine, et a obtenu un Grammy Award. (Fnac.com)
