Tha Galvanos: automatons. "Having started to work with long string installation in the early 1980s, Paul Panhuysen soon began to use automatons to have them produce sound in exhibition situations when he was not there to play them. The instrument that has created the music on this CD is a further development and refinement of that idea. Called The Galvanos, it is an installation of parallel sound processing units that are identical, except for the final detail.". A suivre.
