Duo texan composé de Robert Gomez, et de Anna-Lynne Williams (alias Lotte Kestner), Ormonde joue sur MACHINE une pop-folk très (voire trop) bien produite, à la fois mélancolique et apaisante inspirée par Gainsbourg dont ils reprennent d'ailleurs Lemon Incest. A l'écoute de ce très beau premier album on pense par moments à Blonde Redhead ou The Cardigans. [I.K]
